Oh, this means you must do clinical testing on "volunteers" within the Empire! Practical.

Oh, this means you must do clinical testing on "volunteers" within the Empire! Practical. Hey, I'll have you know that all my test subjects who survive are paid very generously for their contributions to science. Some - like Infinite - even ended up with superpowers as a fun surprise bonus!

You pay people, so does the Eggman Empire have its own currency?

Well, let me know if you've got an open casting- I really don't like my day job But of course. The Eggman Empire always looking for new recruits! Ask any of our past contracts, they'll vouch for the pay being excellent! You pay people, so does the Eggman Empire have its own currency? We mainly deal in Rings, like the rest of the world. As much as I'd love bills and coins with my handsome face on them, Rings have practical applications aside from their monetary value; They can power machines and even offer protective benefits to those who hold them. With those kinds of perks, I imagine we'll be keeping Rings in circulation for a very long time.

Have you ever considered giving up on world domination, even for a moment?

Have you ever considered giving up on world domination, even for a moment? I'm sorry, but do you know who I am? "Give up" isn't in my vocabulary. ...I mean, unless I'm telling other people to do it! Which they should, because my victory is inevitable. So, on that racing tournament that good ol' Mechano mentioned... thoughts on Spongebob Squarepants? Ooh ho ho! I'm not threatened by a racer who's been trying in vain to even pass his driver's license exam for over 25 years. Squarepants can bring it, any time, any racetrack! I'll school him on why I'm the king of the road!

Dr. Eggman, how did Professor Gerald's work influence you? How didn't it? Since I was a child, Grandpa's scientific accomplishments have been my number one inspiration. He's the reason I became a scientist in the first place, and I still greatly admire his brilliance. If you want a specific example, look at Gemerl - my own version of Emerl, an ancient machine my grandfather discovered. ... How will you enforce that? Don't underestimate how many sandwiches I can eat.
